RANCHASSIST™ SPRAYER CALCULATOR
TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective date: August 31, 2026
Last updated: August 31, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RanchAssist™ Sprayer Calculator ("Sprayer Calculator," "RanchAssist," "we," "us," or "our") available at https://sprayercalculator.ranchassist.com or an equivalent RanchAssist-hosted deployment.
By accessing or using Sprayer Calculator, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. PURPOSE OF THE SERVICE
Sprayer Calculator is a planning and arithmetic utility designed to help users calculate and organize information such as:
- Tank-mix quantities from user-entered rates
- Total spray solution volume
- Acres per tank
- Tank loads and refills
- Exact final partial-tank spray volume and product quantities
- Sprayer calibration
- Theoretical GPA
- Theoretical field capacity
- Carrier use
- Tank duration
- Product usage cost
- Total application cost
- Cost per acre
The service is an informational planning aid. It is not a guarantee of real-world performance, legal compliance, product suitability, agronomic outcome, application accuracy, or financial outcome.
2. THE PRODUCT LABEL CONTROLS
The current pesticide, herbicide, adjuvant, or other product label is the controlling source for lawful and proper product use.
Sprayer Calculator does not recommend:
- A pesticide or herbicide
- A product combination
- An adjuvant
- An application rate
- An off-label use
- A mixing sequence
- A PPE program
- A re-entry interval
- A grazing or haying interval
- An environmental restriction
- A compliance determination
You are responsible for obtaining and following the current label and all applicable law, regulation, licensing, training, recordkeeping, environmental, worker-protection, transportation, storage, and application requirements.
If a calculator result conflicts with a product label, law, equipment manual, professional direction, or other controlling requirement, do not rely on the calculator result.
3. USER-ENTERED RATES
You must enter the product rate that applies to your intended use.
RanchAssist does not independently verify that:
- The product is labeled for the crop, pasture, site, pest, animal context, or use
- The rate is current
- The rate is within a legal range
- The product combination is compatible
- The carrier volume is appropriate
- The environmental conditions permit application
- The applicator is licensed or otherwise authorized
- The planned application satisfies local, state, federal, or other legal requirements
Do not use the service to create, infer, justify, or conceal an off-label application.
4. CALCULATION LIMITATIONS
Calculations are based on the values you enter and the formulas implemented in the current version of the tool.
Real-world outcomes can differ because of factors including:
- Input error
- Unit-selection error
- Nozzle wear or blockage
- Pressure variation
- Speed variation
- Boom movement
- Incorrect boom width or nozzle spacing
- Catch-test error
- Overlap or skips
- Turns and headlands
- Terrain
- Wind or weather
- Equipment condition
- Carrier properties
- Refill and loading time
- Obstacles
- Operator technique
- Product properties
- Measurement and rounding differences
Calculated acres/hour and tank duration are theoretical planning values and should not be treated as guaranteed field productivity.
5. EQUIPMENT AND CALIBRATION RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for inspecting, calibrating, maintaining, and operating your equipment according to applicable equipment instructions, product labels, professional guidance, and law.
Sprayer Calculator does not certify:
- Calibration
- Nozzle performance
- Equipment condition
- Application uniformity
- Drift control
- Spray quality
- Coverage
- Deposition
- Legal compliance
- Safety compliance
6. NO PROFESSIONAL OR REGULATORY ADVICE
The service does not provide legal, regulatory, agronomic, engineering, environmental, occupational-safety, veterinary, financial, or other licensed professional advice.
Where professional or local guidance is appropriate, consult a qualified person or authority.
7. USER RESPONSIBILITY FOR INPUTS
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, units, and relevance of the information you enter.
Before relying on an output, review:
- Field acres
- GPA
- Tank capacity
- Product rate
- Rate unit
- Container size/unit/price
- Boom width
- Nozzle spacing/count
- Travel speed
- Nozzle flow
- Catch-test values
- Cost inputs
- Notes and assumptions
Use Calculation Details to audit the formulas and values when available.
8. PROJECT FILES AND SESSION DATA
The standard Sprayer Calculator is session-first and does not require a RanchAssist account.
Active-session recovery may use browser sessionStorage.
Long-term user-controlled save/resume uses RanchAssist .ra project files.
You are responsible for:
- Saving a .ra file when you want to continue a project later
- Protecting saved project files
- Maintaining backups you consider necessary
- Reviewing project files before sharing them
- Opening project files only from sources you trust
RanchAssist does not guarantee that every historical or future project-file version will remain compatible forever. The application may reject incompatible or damaged files rather than risk restoring an incorrect project.
9. EXPORTS AND SHARING
You may choose to generate, save, copy, print, or send outputs such as:
- PDF/print reports
- CSV files
- Copy Summary text
- Email summaries
- .ra project files
You are responsible for reviewing an output before relying on or sharing it.
Once information leaves the application through a download, print, copy, email, or other user-initiated action, its storage and disclosure are subject to the device, recipient, software, and services you use.
10. EMAIL SHARING
Where Email Summary is available, you are responsible for:
- Entering the correct recipient address
- Having permission to send the information
- Reviewing the information before sending
- Avoiding confidential or sensitive information you do not intend to transmit
RanchAssist does not guarantee email delivery, timing, filtering, or receipt.
11. ACCEPTABLE USE

14. USER PROJECT DATA
You remain responsible for the information you enter and the files you create.
The standard no-account Sprayer Calculator architecture is not intended to create a RanchAssist-owned permanent project record from ordinary use.
